Eidos engages football supporters with IntelliTXT in-text advertising
for launch of Championship Manager 2007™

IntelliTXT leading element of Eidos online marketing campaign

Eidos, the leading international publisher of interactive entertainment products, is using IntelliTXT in-text advertising to launch the 2007 version of Championship Manager™. The campaign launches on Tuesday 10th October to maximise the heightened football interest surrounding England's European qualifier against Croatia on Wednesday.

Phrases such as 'European Qualifiers', 'International Football' and names of the players within the match squad will be double-underlined in football related web content. When the users' mouse moves over the double-underlined words they will be engaged with a user initiated advert publicising the games launch. The ads will link to the Championship Manager 2007 dedicated website.

The campaign is targeting football fanatics and sports enthusiasts and will run across TeamTalk's portfolio of major sports websites including TeamTalk.com, Sporting Life and Football365. The ads will be focused around international football news and forums discussing the game.

Later this year Eidos will be using IntelliTXT Video, which delivers rich media creative within an in-text ad unit for the first time, to promote 'Tomb Raider: Legend' on Nintendo platforms.
