Regional VP of Sales Joins Vibrant Media to Help Lead Sales Team for
Contextual Video Advertising Leader

New York, January 17, 2008 — Vibrant Media announced today it has hired longtime AOL and Time Warner sales veteran John Sedlak as Senior Vice President, Sales and Strategic Alliances. Prior to joining Vibrant Media, Sedlak was one of the key leaders responsible for overseeing advertising sales and sales support teams for AOL Media Networks.

Sedlak will leverage his sales leadership and broad base of industry contacts to propel the rapid growth of Vibrant Media's video advertising solutions. He will lead the vertically structured sales team with Paul Joachim, SVP, Sales and Operations, to capture the anticipated growth in online video advertising.

Biography for John Sedlak, SVP Sales for Vibrant Media
Prior to joining Vibrant Media, Sedlak was responsible for overseeing the Eastern Region and Multicultural Advertising Sales and Sales Support Teams for AOL Media Networks.

Prior to re-joining AOL in July 2005, Sedlak held the position of SVP, Sales at Time Warner Global Marketing - the cross-platform sales team for Time Warner. Before his move to Time Warner Global Marketing, Sedlak was a Vice President in AOL's Interactive Marketing sales team. He focused on developing advertising partnerships with a broad range of key AOL partners. Over his first three years at AOL, he led the sales team efforts on partnerships that include Google, Overture, Continental Airlines, American Airlines, CDNow and Barnes & Noble among others. Sedlak also managed a sales staff that was responsible for generating sales in New and Emerging business categories for AOL, Inc.

Sedlak joined America Online, Inc. in February 1999 from Dow Jones & Company/The Wall Street Journal. While at The Journal, he spent six years building advertising businesses in key categories like Technology and Corporate advertising. Prior to The Journal, Sedlak spent two years with Dow Jones' Barron's publication. In addition, he served in the Media Planning department at Ammirati & Puris in New York for three years.

A graduate of Rutgers University, Sedlak continues to play a role in Rutgers student newspaper, The Daily Targum, and provides current Targum sales staff with insight and guidance on the New York marketing and advertising community/job market. He resides in Wyckoff, NJ with his wife Sonya and three children, Madeline, Kathryn and Jack.
