You already have a chat assistant, and it writes about as well as ours does — the same class of model sits behind both. What you do not have is the rest of the job: a brief that persists, a plan that arrives without you asking, a draft that reaches your blog through an API instead of your clipboard, six checks that read it first, and a record of what went live. Vibrant Media is that machinery, priced from $49 a month; ChatGPT and Claude are a writer who waits for you to open the window.
Rent the team when the bottleneck is the steps around the writing; keep the chat window when the bottleneck is the writing itself, and you have the hour to do it.
What both actually do
Both are the same technology pointed at the same job. A large language model writes the words; you read them and decide. Vibrant Media adds a brief, a queue, three publishing integrations and a record — but the sentence that ends up on your blog was written by a model in both cases, and neither of us can promise you it is right without you reading it.
| What both do | How it works here | How it works there |
|---|---|---|
| Writes a first draft | AI-Blogger writes from your saved brief | You prompt it in the chat window |
| Rewrites on request | You edit the draft in Approvals before it ships | You ask for another version in the same chat |
| Proposes topics | Chief manager returns a weekly content plan | You ask, it lists topics |
| Writes social copy | AI-SMM writes a post per channel, against a monthly quota | You paste a brief and ask, per post |
| Makes images | AI-Designer draws one hero image per article | Same both ways |
| Needs your context to be any good | Same both ways | Same both ways |
Where ChatGPT and Claude win
It costs a fraction of what we do, and you are probably already paying it
A consumer plan runs $0–30 per person per month (published consumer and team-plan list prices, 2026). Our entry plan is $49 a month and our full team is $199. If the subscription is already on your card, the marginal cost of writing one more post in it is nothing.
Vibrant Media: you are paying for the queue, the integrations and the record, not for the writing — if you do not need those, you are paying for nothing.
It does the whole job, not one slice of it
A chat assistant will write your ad copy, your investor update, your job posting, your customer email and a spreadsheet formula in the same session. We do content marketing: articles, social copy, images, directory outreach, growth reports. Everything outside that, we simply do not do.
Vibrant Media: narrow on purpose, and no amount of asking widens it.
There is nothing between you and the answer
You type, it answers, you paste. No brief to fill in, no quality gates that can hold a draft back, no monthly cap that refuses the fifty-first article, no approval queue — because there is nothing connected to publish to in the first place.
Vibrant Media: every one of those steps is a step, and on a plan you paid for, the server refuses you once the month's cap is spent.
You keep the steering wheel
Nudging a paragraph, changing the angle mid-draft, arguing with a sentence — that is what a chat window is for. Our loop is coarser: a brief, a run, a draft in the queue, your edit, your approval.
Vibrant Media: you steer at the brief and at the approval, not sentence by sentence.
Where the AI team wins
The work reaches your blog without your clipboard
We hold real publishing integrations for three destinations — WordPress, Shopify and Ghost — through their own APIs, using the application password or API key you issued yourself. A draft you approve becomes a live post on your site. For the other nine channels in the product (Medium, Telegram, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Reddit, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) nothing is automated at all: we write the post and a step-by-step checklist, and you post it from your own account.
ChatGPT and Claude: the text arrives on your screen; every step after that is yours.
The brief is written once and outlives the chat
You fill in a brief, or point the wizard at your website and it reads up to five public pages — after checking that site's robots.txt, only when you press the button, never signed in. Every role then works from that same brief: the blogger, the social manager, the designer, the link builder.
ChatGPT and Claude: custom instructions and projects do some of this, and you maintain them yourself.
Six gates read every draft before you do
Facts, brand voice, SEO, policy, whether it repeats an earlier piece of yours, and whether an assistant can read it. They run before the draft reaches you, and they fail closed: an unparseable verdict or a network error means "do not pass". Unqualified medical, legal or financial advice is blocked outright.
ChatGPT and Claude: the model checks its own work, and you are the only second reader.
What shipped is kept, with the page as it went live
Every published piece is saved with its live link, a copy of the page as it was at publication, and the run that wrote it — which model, which prompt version. When your Search Console and GA4 are connected, the analyst reports impressions, clicks and positions with each figure labelled by where it came from; without a connection it says so rather than showing a number.
ChatGPT and Claude: the chat log is the only record, and it does not know what happened after you pasted.
A month of output arrives without you sitting down
On Team ($199) the month is 20 articles, 60 social packs and 80 images. Switch nightly drafts on and a draft is written at 05:00 UTC and waits in Approvals; it is off by default, because it spends your own monthly quota.
ChatGPT and Claude: output equals the hours you spend prompting — the window does not open itself.
What it costs
Our prices are the ones on our pricing page; the range for the alternative is the published consumer and team-plan list price, not an estimate of what you would spend on API usage.
| Plan | Price | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| Vibrant Media Solo | $49/mo | AI-Blogger + Chief Manager, 12 articles/mo, 1 channel, evidence feed |
| Vibrant Media Team | $199/mo | All 6 specialists + Chief, 20 articles, 60 social packs, all 12 channels |
| Vibrant Media Scale | $499/mo | 50 articles, 200 images + 200 social packs, 2,000 team requests |
| ChatGPT or Claude | $0–30 per person / mo | Published consumer and team-plan list prices, 2026 |
Signing up is free and takes no card: it sets up the office. The free account does not run the models — you pay when you put the team to work.
What a month looks like
Same thirteen rows on every comparison page, so the six pages can be read against each other. Our figures come from the plans themselves, not from the copy on the pricing page.
| What you're comparing | Vibrant Media | ChatGPT and Claude |
|---|---|---|
| What you're actually buying | A standing content team on a subscription | An assistant you drive yourself |
| Roles covered (blogger, SEO, SMM, designer, analyst, link builder, chief manager) | Seven on Team and Scale; blogger plus chief on Solo | One assistant; you are every role |
| Where the work comes from — the brief | Filled once, or read from up to five pages of your site | Custom instructions or a project you maintain |
| Time from signup to first draft | You press run; or 05:00 UTC nightly once you enable it | Minutes — the window is already open |
| Output in a month at the plan most clients pick | Team $199: 20 articles, 60 social packs, 80 images | Whatever you have hours to prompt and paste |
| Who approves before anything goes out | You do — approving is what publishes it | You do; nothing is connected to publish |
| Where it publishes | WordPress, Shopify, Ghost by API; nine channels are a hand-off | Nowhere — it returns text to your screen |
| Evidence that it worked | Live link, saved page copy, run id; rankings from your Search Console | You check your own analytics yourself |
| Ramp-up before it knows your business | Brief at signup; the wizard reads your site on request | One chat, or a project you set up |
| Turnaround on a change request | Edit in the queue before publishing; Ghost and WordPress can be updated after | Immediate — ask again in the same chat |
| Price at the entry point | $49/mo | $0–30 per person / mo (published list prices, 2026) |
| What you keep when you stop paying | Published pages on your own site; JSON export of everything | Your chat history and whatever you saved |
| Hard limits | Monthly caps per plan; the server refuses past them | Message and usage limits set by the vendor |
_"The plan most clients pick" is Team, the plan highlighted on our pricing page. We do not publish a client-mix figure._
When not to hire us
- Nothing goes out without a person clicking publish. If you want a channel that runs unattended overnight, this is the wrong tool — the approval step is a gate we do not remove.
- We publish into channels you already own. We do not build the site, the storefront or the accounts; if there is nothing to publish into yet, start there.
- We do not run paid ads. No bidding, no budgets, no ad accounts — a chat assistant will happily draft ad copy for you and we will not run the campaign either way.
- Proof needs a connection. The result is shown from Search Console and Analytics; without them connected you get published work and no evidence, and we will say so rather than show a made-up number.
- We work from the brief you give us. Nobody here will sit in your meetings or call your customers to find out what you sell.
How to choose
| If you need… | Choose | Why |
|---|---|---|
| One page rewritten this afternoon | ChatGPT or Claude | No brief, no plan and no subscription stands in the way |
| To argue with every sentence as it is written | ChatGPT or Claude | Our loop steers at the brief and the approval, not mid-draft |
| Ad copy, investor updates, spreadsheets, code | ChatGPT or Claude | We do content marketing and nothing else |
| Articles on your own blog without pasting them | Vibrant Media | Real API integrations for WordPress, Shopify and Ghost |
| A record of what shipped and where it landed | Vibrant Media | Link, saved page copy and the run that wrote it, kept per piece |
| Twenty articles a month without twenty prompting sessions | Vibrant Media | The plan and the queue run without you at the keyboard |
| Rankings and traffic read from your own Google accounts | Vibrant Media | The analyst pulls Search Console and GA4, and labels every figure |
| Posts appearing on LinkedIn, X or Instagram unattended | Neither | We hand you the post and a checklist; the assistant hands you text |
| Video, a photo shoot, or anything physical | Neither | Nobody here films anything, and a model cannot |
| Two posts a month, written by you | Either | At that volume the subscription buys you very little |
Closing
The question is not which one writes better — it is whether the writing is your bottleneck. If it is, the chat window you already pay for is the cheaper answer. If the bottleneck is everything around the writing — the plan, the publishing, the checking, the record — that is what $49 a month buys here.
Common questions
How much does an AI marketing team cost per month?
Vibrant Media costs $49 a month on Solo, $199 on Team and $499 on Scale. Solo includes 12 articles a month, Team 20, and Scale 50, so an article works out at $4.08, $9.95 and $9.98 respectively.
Who approves the content before it goes live?
You do. Every draft waits in Approvals on your Results screen, and approving it is the action that publishes it. There is no setting on any plan that turns unattended publishing on.
Where does an AI marketing team publish?
Into channels you already own. Three of the twelve have a real publishing adapter — WordPress, Shopify and Ghost — and the other nine arrive as a finished pack with a checklist that you post yourself, so no password for them is ever asked for.
How do you prove the work produced results?
From your own Google Search Console and Analytics, read by the analyst role. Without those two connected you get published work and no evidence, and the product says so rather than showing an invented number.
Can I just use ChatGPT or Claude instead?
For writing single pieces, yes — and if that is the job, the chat subscription is cheaper. What a chat window does not do is keep a monthly plan, publish to your site, run quality gates over a draft, or read your Search Console back to you afterwards.
The plans and what each one includes are on the pricing section of the site. If the shape of the work is different from what this page assumes, the comparison against a marketing agency covers the other side of it.
