Vibrant Media vs Copy.ai

A factual comparison of Vibrant Media and Copy.ai: a go-to-market AI platform for sales and marketing teams against an AI team that writes, checks and publishes after you approve.

Copy.ai calls itself "The First AI-Native GTM Platform" and asks you to "Infuse AI across your go-to-market engine with a single platform — not dozens of copilots and point solutions." Its plans run from a $29 chat plan with five seats to workflow plans from $1,000 a month, sold to marketing, sales and operations teams. Vibrant Media is a rented content team for a business without one: seven AI roles plan the month from one brief, write, run every draft through quality gates, and publish to your site only after you click approve.

So the choice is about who is on your side. Copy.ai is a toolkit for teams that build their own workflows — chat, workflows, agents, tables. If there is no team and no one to build anything, the roles here do the content work from the brief and hand you a queue to approve, at $49 for one specialist and $199 for the seven-role team.

What both actually do

Both are built on large language models and both keep your brand in the prompt. Everything in the right-hand column is quoted from Copy.ai's own public pages, checked 2026-10-10.

Where Copy.ai wins

It covers sales as well as marketing

Copy.ai's homepage lists Marketing, Sales, Operations and Sales Development as the teams it serves. Our roles cover content, SEO, social, design, analytics and link building — nothing for a sales pipeline.

Vibrant Media: marketing content only.

Seats for a whole team at a low entry price

The Chat plan is listed at "$29/mo" billed monthly with "5 Seats", "Unlimited Words in Chat" and "Access to OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini models".

Vibrant Media: one account runs one office. There are no seats to hand out, and the entry plan is $49.

You build the workflows yourself

Workflows, Actions, Agents and Tables are building blocks on Copy.ai's homepage. The larger plans list "20K Workflow Credits/Mo" and up, and Enterprise lists "Unlimited Customizable Workflows".

Vibrant Media: the seven roles and their jobs are fixed. You cannot design your own workflow.

Integrations and languages

The homepage cites "2,000+ Integrations", with Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong and Zapier among the logos, and a translation use case: "Produce native speaker level translations for any language."

Vibrant Media: three publishing adapters — WordPress, Shopify and Ghost — and English only.

Where the AI team wins

Nobody has to build anything

The brief is filled once — by you, or by the wizard reading up to five pages of your site. The chief manager returns a content plan and the roles do the work. Your part is reading the drafts and approving or rejecting them.

Copy.ai: its homepage describes components your team assembles into workflows.

It publishes, and only after you click

Approving a draft is the action that publishes it to WordPress, Shopify or Ghost. There is no unattended posting and no setting that turns it on, on any plan.

Copy.ai: publishing to a website is not listed on its pricing page (checked 2026-10-10).

Six gates read every draft before you do

Facts, brand voice, SEO, policy, whether it repeats an earlier piece of yours, and whether an assistant can read it. They fail closed: an unparseable verdict or a network error means "do not pass", and unqualified medical, legal or financial advice is blocked outright.

Evidence, with each number labelled by where it came from

Every published piece is kept with its live link, a copy of the page as it went live, and the run that wrote it. With Search Console and GA4 connected, the analyst tags every figure GSC, GA4, estimate or internal. Without a connection it says "no data yet" instead of showing a number.

Copy.ai: reporting from your Search Console or GA4 is not listed on its pricing page (checked 2026-10-10).

Finished work at a small-business price

Team is $199 a month for 20 articles, 60 social packs and 80 images. Copy.ai's first plan with workflow credits is listed at "$1,000/mo", billed $12,000 a year.

When not to hire us

  • You have a team and want to build its own AI workflows. Copy.ai sells the building blocks; our roles are fixed.
  • The job includes sales. We write marketing content; prospecting and sales outreach are not something the product does.
  • Nothing goes out without a person clicking publish. If you want posts appearing while nobody reads them, the approval step is a gate we do not remove.
  • Nine of our twelve channels are a hand-off, not an integration. Medium, Telegram, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Reddit, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok: we write the post and a step-by-step checklist, you post it from your own account.
  • We publish in English. No translation, no localisation, no second language anywhere in the product.
  • Proof needs a connection. Without Search Console and GA4 connected you get published work and no evidence, and the report says so rather than showing a number.

If you have a team that wants AI across its go-to-market work and the people to build the workflows, Copy.ai is describing exactly that on its own pages. If nobody has that time, and the job is articles, social posts and images that reach your site only after you have read them, that is what $49 to $199 a month buys here.

Common questions

How much does an AI marketing team cost per month?

Vibrant Media costs $49 a month on Solo, $199 on Team and $499 on Scale. Solo includes 12 articles a month, Team 20, and Scale 50, so an article works out at $4.08, $9.95 and $9.98 respectively.

Who approves the content before it goes live?

You do. Every draft waits in Approvals on your Results screen, and approving it is the action that publishes it. There is no setting on any plan that turns unattended publishing on.

Where does an AI marketing team publish?

Into channels you already own. Three of the twelve have a real publishing adapter — WordPress, Shopify and Ghost — and the other nine arrive as a finished pack with a checklist that you post yourself, so no password for them is ever asked for.

How do you prove the work produced results?

From your own Google Search Console and Analytics, read by the analyst role. Without those two connected you get published work and no evidence, and the product says so rather than showing an invented number.
